Join our partner, Positive Ride on January 4th for a volunteer event clearing debris from ADA ramps at Avila Dog Beach, Avila Beach, and Pismo Pier! The recent high surf has washed up debris on the ramps, making it inaccessible to anyone who uses a ramp for beach access. Let’s ensure everyone can access and enjoy our local beaches!
Clean up at Avila Dog Beach will begin at 10am, Avila Beach at the ADA ramp across from PierFront wine bar at 11am, and the ramp at the Pismo Pier at noon. Start times at Avila Beach and Pismo Beach may vary slightly, based on the clean up at the previous location.
Please bring water and sun protection. Tools will be available if needed, but volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves and a rake or flat shovel if they have it available.
