Eagle Ranch Member Hike

Join The Land Conservancy for a hike on the beautiful Eagle Ranch near Atascadero. You’ll recognize this ranch if you’ve ever taken in the view from Cerro Alto and West Cuesta in the Los Padres NF. The scenic ranch also provides a backdrop to Highway 101 just south of Atascadero.

The landowners have generously provided limited access to Land Conservancy members to hike on Eagle Ranch. The diverse woodlands, lush pastures, and scenery on the property will make for a beautiful morning hike!

Please RSVP here. A confirmation email with important information, including directions to the ranch, will be sent to attendees one week prior to the hike.

Docent-led ranch hikes require significant hiking experience. Ranch hikes will not provide the same experience as a hike on our local open spaces. Hikers should have experience with off-trail terrain and should be comfortable in a wilderness environment. These properties are working ranches with untracked terrain. This includes steep, slippery/loose, rocky, and uneven surfaces. Ranch hikes may travel on existing dirt roads, but at times may require off-trail hiking over difficult terrain.
