The Gateway to Nature Garden in Santa Margarita is a special place for both kids and wildlife. The garden has been built and maintained by Learning Among the Oaks since the early 2000s and features native plants and habitat-focused gardening techniques. It is a Western Monarch Trail site and home to one of our bird nest boxes, which we maintain and monitor as part of a community science project.
Please join us on Sat., January 24, 10:30 am–12:30 pm, as we plant new native pollinator plants, spread mulch to combat annual weeds and improve soil structure, and perform other garden care tasks. This event will be family-friendly and open to all! Please sign up on our Eventbrite RSVP Form.
