Where to meet: Santa Margarita Elementary School Gateway to Nature (along H St. entrance to school, just off Hwy 58). Wear comfortable clothes for gardening.
What we’ll do: Mulching, light weeding/pruning, planting and beautifying this popular nature path to and from school. Please help make this a haven for native pollinators and away station for migrating monarch butterflies.
Why? Native pollinator and monarch butterfly populations are in decline. Our food supply depends on pollinators and farmers.
