Heather grew up in Potter Valley, a tiny farm town in northern California. She spent much of her childhood playing at a friend’s ranch and exploring the wilds of the Mendocino National Forest with her family.
Heather’s background includes restoration, resource management, and fire suppression. She founded her own thriving SLO based business in 2009, and volunteers with other environmentally based nonprofits. Her passion for the outdoors and love for the community came together in 2020 when she became the Development Manager of the Land Conservancy of SLO County.
When she is not serving the community, Heather enjoys painting, gardening, backpacking, traveling, snowboarding, cycling, climbing, and spending time with loved ones.
