Brooke Langle has 20 years of professional experience as a biologist and botanist, working primarily as an environmental consultant throughout the Central Coast of California. Brooke is currently the principal biologist and founder of Terra Verde Environmental Consulting and previously worked across the U.S. on numerous environmental compliance projects and environmental training programs. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology & Systematic Biology from California Polytechnic State University.

Brooke combines a diverse background of environmental resource management with experience in environmental planning, training, compliance, and resource conservation. She has maintained an active involvement with field biology, including surveys and monitoring for California red-legged frogs, western spadefoot toad, western pond turtle, Swainson’s hawk, burrowing owl, and numerous sensitive plant species including the federally-protected Pismo clarkia.

Her community involvement has included volunteering for The Land Conservancy for 22 years, lecturing part-time at Cal Poly in the Natural Resources Management Department, and serving for several years as President of the Central Coast Chapter of The Wildlife Society.
Brooke lives in San Luis Obispo and never tires of exploring the open spaces in our county.
